Welcome to the Sakura Kobudo Dojo training group. Located in
Huntsville Alabama, our
training covers ancient scrolls used by the japanese during the period
of the samurai. If you want to learn the traditional arts of the
past, and prepare yourself both physically and mentally, then the
Sakura dojo is the only place to find real traditional kobudo martial
arts in north Alabama.
We train in empty hand combat as well as all traditional weapons such
as the Katana, Bo, and Tanto. With this training you will learn
honor and self discipline.
We teach and maintain the seven codes of Bushido, and each student will
abide by these simple and just rules. This will encourage
discipline for each student to aid them in there future.

We train out doors like some other
Jinenkan dojos. This teaches the student to conform to the
environment and will help them when confronted with a situation in the
real world. Our dojo is not yet an authorized rank giving dojo by Unsui
Sensei but is a certified training group, thus all rank tests will be
performed in Cookeville Tn. under the direction of the instructor's
Dojo-Cho
